RAIL CROSSING SAFETY

Big Sky Rail has brought it to the RM’s attention that they feel the RM ratepayers have been removing the cross bucks to get farm equipment through a crossing and leaving them down.

Due to strict Transport Canada safety guidelines these were replaced and charged to the RM at a cost of $500/ cross buck replacement.

We would like to ask our ratepayers to please respect the rail crossings and ensure the cross bucks are standing for everyone’s safety.
